Bad news. Only thing I can suggest is ring a funeral director and they kind of arrange everything.

When my old man died in 2005, I was completely done and the professionals really help out and ease you through the complexities. They know how to charge though......

Also, if she died in hospital, they have a bereavement councellor who will help you with all the details.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Funeral director will take care of everything.
Booking crem, vicar, flowers, service cards, paper, the lot.
They'll come around to your place and go through it all with you and the vicar should pop around too and go through order of service etc.
Cost about £2500.

So sorry to hear this Rob, you and Em have our sympathy. :(

We lost Heather's Mother last year. Put yourself in the hands of the professionals, they make it all happen very smoothly.

thanks chaps

cheers for the above

started the house clearance today

very strange

whot oi lurnd twoday

all about green burials

for all you non-religious types

buried in a field on the side of a hill by offas dyke path, excellent location, well that's where Emma's mother is going anyway

I thought it was a great idea, you can be buried in anything from a shroud to a painted coffin or just plain old oak

there are so many things in life and death that I have no idea about

has any one else heard of this type of burial ???

New one on me I'm afraid. :nenau

Heather's Mum was Sally Army and we had the full tambourine banging and the band at the graveside. Funnily enough I found it all quite uplifting :clap

Perfect

Yes, great idea.......................:thumb
