I have an odd problem with my Nav IV. I have it connected to my phone and to my Interfone F4. My commute is around 1hr 40 mins each way and I usually have music on for the whole trip. The music is held on an 8Gb class 6 card.
Almost every time I use it the music goes intermittent after about an hour or so. A reboot fixes it but clearly that's a proper pain in the arse. If I ignore the symptoms (which I rarely do) then sometimes the music will stop and eventually the device lock up. It did that two or three times when I was out on a long overnight ride a while back, having to be rebooted each time. In that situation I had music off and voice directions on.
Garmin suggested a hard reset but it doesn't seem to have made much of a difference, if any.
I don't get an issue like this if I connect my phone directly to my F4 so it's the Nav IV not the F4.
Anyone else experienced anything like this? Anyone found a way to fix it?
