Hi, I'm sure I'd seen a link somewhere to someone who was making/selling a map pocket/net thing that fitted into the lids of the vario boxes and top case, mounting on the same screws that are already there.
Anyone else seen this?
A map/document pocket in the top box would be very useful.
Surprised BM haven't done it as an optional extra.

Touratech? Have you looked at their site?:nenau

Had a look on Touratech, but can't see it there.
I think it was someone in Italy who was doing a kit of three pieces, one for each box.
They weren't cheap either, if I remember, about £50, which is lot of money for three bits of netting!

Make your own fixing for the pannier lid.

A packet of split 6mm O rings (fishing tackle shop) and some elastic cord, approx 1 metre per pannier ~ mountain sports shop. Total cost <£5 for the 2 panniers and top box.

Join two split rings together x 6 sets, loosen the 6 screws in the vario lid, loop one end of the split ring around each screw, tighten. Feed elastic cord through the split rings creating a X across and around the edge of the pannier lid. Tighten and tie off the cord.

Instant fix to enable items to be held securely in the pannier lid e.g gloves, fleece, U lock, etc
