I'm new, but old - a 63 year old born again biker, been riding for 3 and bit years, started (re-started) with a Fazer 600, a superb first bike, and then bought the GS new (2007 model) in December last year. This was as a result of a test ride for a few hours, and also, 2 weeks prior to this, the GS wasn't even on the short list!

Brilliant bike - as most of you already know!

I am interested in possible mods - and comments would be very welcome. What experience have forum members had of coverting headlights to HID spec, and what silencers are recommended for increased power and a more interesting sound?
