iPhone 11 bmw prep adapter advice.

hi, ive got the BMW sat nav prep on my new to me gs1250. I'm looking to be able to hook my iPhone 11 for sat nav purposes. I've been told about an adapter, does it charge the phone wirelessly or do I need to connect a usb to the adapter or does I take the power from the bmw sat nav prep and a case to push my phone in and I'm away. any cheap adapters that aren't expensive genuine that people have used? or peoples opinion these carpurides as an alternative. Any advise be appreciated, cheers

I don’t think the iPhone had wireless charging capability until the iPhone 15.

The BMW Connectedride cradle will wireless charge my iPhone XS. However, it need to be out of its case.

Yes iPhone 11 will have wireless charging, I had one.

Yes, what are your opinions on them? Seen another on for 40 on eBay, same as the genuine but obviously now. Does the toggle work on them? And the phone security? And they take the power from the cradle or you have to have wires to the usb port?
