Sorry if this has already been discussed but cant find it.

1. I've got the original iphone. The 3.5 headphone socket only works with some plugs ie apples (obviously) Bose and one a too others. Don't work with the lead for my Starcom system though. I believe they have changed this on the 3G phone. When you compare the plugs its hard to see what the difference is but there must be one. Is there an adapter out there I can use?

2. I used to bluetooth my previous phones to my starcom unit and answer calls when riding. Simply set phone to auto answer. Can't do that with the iphone. Any ideas?

Thanks Tuned in. Looks the biz. Anyone know the answer to the second question?
No, but I'd like to register a protest against dikchead manufacturers who use proprietary plugs when standard ones would do just as well.

Exhibit 2 my Motorola Razor V8 which has a power lead with a small socket, which is almost, but not quite, exactly the same as a mini-USB

i use a belkin lead from my iphone jack (both 2G or 3G) into the autocom for my tunes, and connect the same phone using bluetooth to the zumo550 for phonecalls. Other than the interference (which is to do with the location), it's a perfect set-up.
