is there any way of connecting the iPhone 4 via Bluetooth as an A2DP Mp3 player rather than a phone?

I've got a Schuberth SRC and a Nav IV. I can pair the SRC (as audio) and the iPhone (as a phone) with the Nav IV to and get nav prompts and use the phone. But this combination won't let me use the phone as an MP3 player.

If I pair the iPhone directly with the SRC I can get music and phone but no Nav prompts.

I don't mind not having the phone, but I'd like to not have to bother carrying an extra MP3 player.

Plus, did anyone ever find a away of using thre SRC with Ultimate Ear monitors with the SRC?

I use TomTom navi app on my iPhone 4, you can play your music and as soon as a direction prompt comes up the music volume is lowerd. One stone 2 birds ;-)

At ultimate we will convert your SRC to allow for the connection of your in ear monitors, this involves removing the fitted speakers, fitting a 3.5mm jack socket and a resistor to take the volume down to suit the in-ear monitors.

The adaption will invalidate your warranty but it works very well.

Cost £35 plus £6 to post your collar back to you by special delivery.
