Got an iphone 4 locked to orange but now at end of contract so would like to change to GiffGaff.
Tried unlocking using the latest software from redsnow http://www.redsn0w.us/ but it wants me to point the unlock software at a file called ios 5.0ipsw. I've tried to find it on my computer from last update and downloading it via the redsnow web site. I can't find the right file on my hard drive and the download from redsnow wasn't recognised by their unlock tool?
Any one got any hints or ideas what I'm doing wrong? Curently running on ios 5.0.1. I know I could pay Orange for an unlock but where's the fun in that? Or pay for one of the many Jailbreak packages on line but why pay when there are free options?
