I am after listening to the "Desert island discs" programme from Beeb radio with Morrissey. However, it looks like its now unavailable on the BBC website. Do any of you computor/tv/radio buffs know if its possible to download/listen to it again by any other means ???

Thanks folks

I missed the Desert Island Discs programme when John Peel was on, which was a while ago now, and tried the "listen again" at that time. What they said then was that due to copyright issues, they never allowed DID to be available on LI.

Sorry, that probably wasn't what you wanted to hear... :blast

Er, no, but pleased you took the time to answer.
Thanks.

Safe riding.

I may well be wrong (normally am) but don't you have to wait for a certain time
after the programme is broadcast before you can view/listen to it on iplayer?

Possibly, I don't know. However, the problem with DID seems to be that of musical copyright not allowing the programme to be available willy-nilly, as it were... :blast

Thats kinda the problem really. The programme was on iplayer for a while after it was broadcast perhaps two weeks ago (ive listened to it once). Now however, its not available.

I thought everything on iplayer was removed after a certain time - most of what I've seen there does, anyway... :blast
