Does anyone know if this will work?

An ipod transmitting to your (bluetooth) phone's fm radio with itrip or similar.
Listen to your ipod via bluetooth phone on system 5 helmet?

If it works, it should cut out to receive calls and then go back to your music once the call is over.

I have the naviplay but keep on forgetting to test it with the System V coz I don't want to pay £260 for the sysV extra

Check this link Ten Naviplay

Should work and also supports stereo bluetooth... and phone

Will try it when I get home - I've got the required bits of kit. Will report back.....

Urrrr....forgot. Sorry. Will attempt this evening if not pissed.

OK - it works going from the i-tripped iPod to the phone. I dont have a bluetooth headset handy but I could listen fine through the supplied corded headset.

The phone is a SonyEricsson K750i.

The radio on this phone and others wont work without the corded headset plugged in cos it's the aerial innit. Therefore working with Bluetooth to a helmet is probably unlikely.

I recommend some Ultimate Ear moulded monitors plugged into your iPod - much cheaper & simpler than getting a new helmet & other gubbins :D

Mine is a 750i too. I usually ride with an ipod pluhed in to Ultimate Ears - a great set-up albeit it makes windnoise so low I tend to ride a little too fast
:nono

Take your point about the corded phones/aerial. I'll justt have to wait for the full bluetooth 'autocome type' system that both B*W and Schuberth are releasing later this year/early next. You cvan plug all your wired devices into it and then it conects them to your bluettoth helmet wirelessly.

Cheers fr the help Tobers - saves me wasting £600 on a WCS helmet right now.

Got a bluettoth equipped X3 - great car and a great handsfree system via radio - dial out via the steering wheel etc. Just fancied a similar system on the bike. :P
