Ipod power supply on 1200gs

Has anyone wired in a power supply for an Ipod on a 1200 gs through one of the auxiliary sockets? I'm looking for any information , cables used and such. :thumb

I've got a selection of 'car charge/sync' leads that have a USB lead going into the device (phone/ipaq/gps receiver etc) which attaches to the usual cigarette lighter plug thing the other end.

I've taken this a step further by plugging a four port USB hub into one of these cigarette plugs so I just hang all my USB devices off of one accessory socket.

This is the sort of thing I mean (Ebay item #8805499854).

How did you make the connection to the auxiliary socket?

When I'm away for the weekend on the bike, I use an Accessory socket to cigarette lighter socket convertor (Nippy Norman sells them) and then use a cheap in-car Ipod charger (off ebay). All this tucks into my tank bag out of the way.

As per DellyBelly - you want a cigarette to accessory socket lead. However, I would suggest you try and get the combined sync AND charge leads rather than the standard car charge leads as you can then introduce a USB hub and have multiple devices charging off of the same socket.

YMMV though.
