has anyone had experience of either of these 2 remotes?

radio

wired

tesco's sell both & i nearly bought the wired one yesterday, but i thought i'd trawl for direct experiences first :)

i'm currently using my ipod video chucked in my jacket pocket. because it's in this case which has a recess for the click wheel, it's pretty easy to turn on/off and skip tracks, but volume is not possible to adjust with gloved hands unless they are damp though it works with gloves off.

would be nice to get a bit more control & the wired item having a display is a bonus.

i've got an apple wired one, you can get them off flea bay for a £5 delivered. i only use it to adjust volume, as i've got the ipod set to play random.

Had a similar one to the radio remote. Had it clipped to the handlebars so that it was easy to operate when on the bike :thumb

Cookie, do a search for Belkin. I use their remote (wireless), got it velcroed/strapped to the "soft pad" on the handlebars and it works a treat.

Me got Griffin Airclick - wireless - works great, though it's basic in that you don't have a remote screen - just go stop fwd back volume, but I find that's all I need and it's easy to use with gloves on.

Mounted in on bars with some super-velcro stuff and have the Pod in my pocket.
