or larne troon but it doesnt leave till 1730

whats the traffic gonna be like at them times midweek

If you're on the bike............

Cairnryan - Dumfries - Moffat - up A701 - A721 to Carstairs, then north on A706 to Falkirk.

Some good roads.

As long as you aren't travelling the M8 - should be okay for traffic

Get the earlier boat

Nice wee route inc the Heads of Ayr and Culzean castle

Could be busy off the boat but you loose the traffic at the heads of Ayr and the rest of the word goes on the A77 and M77 and you get past Glasgow on the outside

Keep an eye on yer speed on the coast for unmarked cars and hideaway feckers!
