My mate who has no computer but has a 1200 GS plus a 1200C thingy (yuk) so I am posting this around the networks on his behalf.
So you c an guess that rip off Ireland is alive and well.

So yesterday we went up to Belfast yesterday and got both serviced along with new tyres and a gel battery total cost a little over £ 500. (=€ 650)
Stuffys wanted €600+ for just the service. Muddocks wanted €800 and Careless in Cork quote was € 1200 . the service quoted did not include the tyres and battery.
When are BMW and the dealers going to realise that this rip off cannot be allowed to continue,
Any got similar evidence as to the costs so I can open up file to attack this problem and try to get some evidence as to how bad this problem really is.
Any info treated in the strictest confidence.

I did not think it was only restricted to BWM dealers......fcuking nearly everything is a Rip off, hence 'Rip off Republic'......insurance to everything you can think off we pay way more over the odds then the rest of the EU......

By the way if you did a search here there a few independents BM mechanics in Ireland that come highly recommended....
