Is it safe to uninstall client services for netware?

No1 daughter has asked me - she wants to uninstall it to access her welcome screen...
is it safe

It permits access to Novell Netware services/resources, so as long as she doesn't need to access any such devices then it is OK to remove it.

It is slightly unusual for this client to be installed nowadays, one would normally install it for a particular purpose, so it begs the question why has she even got it installed.

I can't imagine she will need it, so, yes it is "safe".

Lots of threads on google about it - it can be tricky to "uninstall".
