These are my old TKC80's.There is around 5.5mm on the rear at the centre of the tyre middle block and around 6.5/7mm centre middle block on the front.
Thing is with the weather becoming more snowy/slushy does the collective think it is worth putting these back on or should I wait a while till I can get hold of some Heidenau's?
I have some Tourance on at the moment around 6 mm Tread rear and 4mm front.

Personally...

... I'd sling em. Knockouts are only good if they're sharp, and those aren't. I reckon you're better off with the tourances, at least they've got a better compound for wet weather.

But that's just me. :)

Stick with the Tourances for winter use.:thumb

IMHO there is no benifit in using knobbers in sub-zero conditions.

the tourances i had on last year were slippier than the tkc's i have on now, only in the snow tho, the tourances are better in the wet.

If you are fortunate enough to find some fresh snow they may help a little as there's a surprising amount of grip in new snow, especially the colder it is. Unfortunately it's the other traffic that messes up the road and once the snow is compacted to ice no tyre is much use on a heavy tractor like the GS, unless maybe it's got studs. A nice, light two stroke is what ya need.
