is the r100 mystic a proper airhead

R100R...

I had a R100R which I preferred in looks to the Mystic.

Did a couple of memorable trips down to Italy... a good bike at the time.

The vibes felt through the bars were very intrusive I recall.

Good looking machine though...

The wife’s Mystic handles and braked better than my PD takes K series panniers which can take a lot of luggage ,only problem with the Mystic is the lower seat/subframe If your over 5'6" it is rather cramped, as for the pillion seat don’t bother, seat too small, thin sponge and old style strap across the seat. For me I would prefer R100R Classic for the extra leg room
Summary, definitely and airhead ,no power, vibrates and clunky gearbox but that why we like them
