I already have plenty of orange in the garage with a duke 11 and a 525.
But am looking for something more usable if you see what i mean.

I had a GS 1150 but just find them like tanks on the road P )


Did have a 650cc a few years back but there has been a few newbies as above since then so just wondering?

Don't totally bin the twin...

....They also do HPN's in slim, you know:-

Dry, 180kg and 179kg respectively.

I had posession of a KTM 640 Adv for 4 years, easy enough to respect but impossible to love.

I'm told these are of a different order of loveliness altogether.

I concur with fatjohn. Dakar or was on my list - but in the end price and the fact that it was a twin rather than single made me buy a 96 Transalp.

Of course - if you plan to use it for mainly offroading - the Dakar would be the clear winner

Hi.
I have had the Honda+the Dakar.
I found the Dakar better alround,+ lots more MPG,and great off road.
I have tried the KTMs
OK if you have loads of cash and dont mind it being in the Dealers most of the Time
