Is this a 'standard' bmw fairing clip.

Clip to hold belly-pan onto fairing on K1.

Does anybody know if its a standard bmw type clip used on other models .

To me it looks like the exhaust bracket of a NSU Quickley


Although then again it may have fell off a Space shuttle

Yes it is. Usually on the shelf too (the clip is used for lots of different applications). Only thing to be certain of is the thread, there are two that I know of M5 & M6.

They are called 'Body Nut' on the BMW system. That one is M5.
