Is this some kind of scam?

I came across this ad yesterday

Seemed almost too good to be true, particularly as the same bike was recently listed on ebay and didnt reach reserve at £2800

I thought it had to be worth a phone call though and thats where it gets really weird, I dialled the number in the ad but it apparently redirected me to another number and the poor unsuspecting couple on the other end know nothing about the bike and neither do they recognise the number I dialled (twice)!??
