I log-on to this site from both home and work, but there are several differences in what I can see.
At home, I can't see the red tabs along the top, directly below the main UKGSER.com and BMW logos (at least I think they're red, I'm at home now and can't see them). I recall these tabs are needed to get into your personal preferences and so on. I can't see the 'forum sponsor' logo on the individual posts either. I can, however, see all of this when I log in at work. I think there may be other stuff missing too at home, which may be why I couldn't work out how to post a poll tonight and why I needed to organise site sponsorship from work, there seems to be functionality missing when using my home laptop.
I recall someone suggesting that Service Pack 2 fixes this probelm, but it hasn't. I downloaded Java 2 at someone's suggestion as well, but it hasn't changed anything I can see either.
Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on settings I may need to change to fix this. Maybe cookies? Security settings? Privacy settings? I've run out of ideas...
If it helps, I run Windows XP and use Norton Internet Security for virus scanning, ad blocking, firewall and so on.
Thanks in advance,
Steve
