Well was told they would not be able to deliver my new gs until, thursday , had a call tuesday morning to tell me it was on its way and would i be at home , bit of a panic as i was at work an off i went home to meet the driver and my new toy .

I won't drag this out, but based on my limited experance the new bike is significantly different to the old 1200 gsa , the box is much smoother and it seems to rev much easier , bars appear to be different as well which gives me a much better riding position.

The low first makes it much easier in london traffic as well ,so anyone commuting into heavy traffic would be advised to consider this option.

Kept it short as others have said much the same previously , well pleased , glad i did not go with the ktm now.

if i knew how to post pics i would !

Enjoy your new ride.:beerjug:

I have 800ks on my adventure and almost due for its first service. The new gear box with the low first gear is great around town as well hilly starts.:thumb

The bars on the new GSA are "flatter" but with raisers - I'd like to see old and new side by side to compare.
