It might be fast, even with a hearse on the side...

I told my wife that I'd like one of those when my time came. Bloody hell, she wasn't impressed.

I still reckon that hearse would look dead smart bolted onto a black 1150 GSA. :thumb

The guy running the motorcycle hearses in Scotland is an ex-police inspector. Not sure if he was traffic or ot, but he knows how to ride it in both working and play mode.

They have about 10 different bikes in the company, mostly Triumphs.

It also looks a lot better than the trike hearse, which looks like a converted iice cream bike.

I gave the one above a very good look over when it was in our garage before a funeral and it is very smart, proper lights and ventilation. The Hayabusa may not be the best bike as the rider had to constantly jump between first and second to maintain funeral pace.

Our Funeral Director had to sit on the pillion seat. He is used to a Yamaha XJR1300 and didn't like the Hayabusa. I can understand that. I would prefer to sit at the front too.

You may fine choice of motorcycle i.e Hayabusa is more to do with the image of the motorcycle than the ease of gearing for a funeral prossesion.
Fúck me if some twat puts me in a BMW RT outfit on my way to hell I'll be turning in my grave a few hours in advance of being planted.

I saw the Busa in 2006 it came into the carpark of the pub in Coalville Day of Champions ride out with some poor soul in the coffin, done a burn out  then carried on with it's heavenly journey
