Itchy wheels!

I assume you mean you got caught in falling snow with a tiny bit settling, as opposed to 8-12" of the stuff on the floor?

Mr Adam A

This is your "implication" that there are 12 inches of snow in EA. You comments are in the East Anglian section therefore would think are related to the EA section.

Im not from the south but do live in Cambridge.

Bad snow was in January and December FYI.

I do know my location its called sarcasm.

Jim:mmmm

Maybe if the reader is as thick as you appear to be yes it would be the implication, however it contained no implication whatsoever about deep snow in east anglia, and infact clearly stated the exact opposite.
Anyone with half a brain would quite clearly see that the sentence you quote states I assume you meant a very small amount of snow and NOT 8-12".
But don't let that fact stop you arguing.:comfort

Indeed they are, and were.
Not my fault you are too thick to understand them tho.

Loling happily here, it's nice to see we can all still have an informed and adult conversation on the forums..

Listen, I'm sat here very sadly between bikes (and sorely missing one). So, anyone that can even own a bike currently should consider themselves an absolute winner. Whether you polish or ride, it's all bike owner ship aint it?

Enjoy, the snow, wet, cold, whatever, I know I'd be out like a shot if the opportunity arose.

:beerjug:

I would love to get on the bike for the commute to work, but I work shift work, mostly finishing at stupid o'clock or starting very early. As I have a small stream running down my road and it freezes nearly every night it means I simply can't get out of the drive way without the risk of falling off. And that really wouldn't be a good start to the night! No amount of waterproof clothing will get me out with ice on the road.
And when i need 4x4 to get up the driveway (I jest not) I won't even get the push bike out. Wimp, maybe, but I enjoying sport to much to risk breaking something doing something simple but stupid:augie

Pah

Just keep riding the thing and wash it afterwards. ;)

Mine had a couple of days off due to snow mid winter but been riding it ever since all this winter and that includes 5AM starts and midnight finishes on shift work.

As for the Udders i know he has been out and about as i saw him out on his GS a few weeks ago with his lad pillion :augie

You wont catch me out on two wheels unless its 30 degrees and blazing sunshine.

No chance.

Its madness. :tears

So who nicked your bike on the 14th then? Blow me, we got home at 6 absolutely freezing cold.

Oh, hang on, Is this that irony stuff they have in that London?

Glorious weather ordered for 3rd W/E in March:D
Six speeding sheep-shaggers on the way, lock up your Suffolks.
