Perhaps it is time to create another Tosser's monthly meeting somewhere more local :augie.

I may have a think about this, but don't hold your breath, and any suggestions from others are to be welcomed.

The Tap is a realistic option: In fact it could even be a location that is simply worth the ride.

What has to be considered is that Geezers, and Gals, have obligations and sometimes will not be able to attend, or can't be bothered because of the location or travelling time to-and-fro. With this in mind it might be worth simply setting up a proposed meet and if those who wish to attend do so and those who don't should perhaps make a suggestion for the following months' meeting location.

At the mo' I don't particularly fancy the one on the M56/M6 during the winter but am coming around to it now that the weather is changing and could endure the direct route from my local' but, there is a lot to be said for motorcycle riders going to places for the ride more over that the actual meeting in the pub and talking about it: Note, I'm not against being in a Boozer but sometimes how you get there and how long it takes can be a PITA.

So, the meet doesn't have to be an evening but, could be during the day (weekends typically), and we could have a ride out, being guided by some knowledgeable locals, with some good roads and track, and simply provide some new points of contact.

Well there you go. I'll consider doing some investigations and if anyone's interested they can join in, or make their own proposals if they want to. :thumb2
