iTunes back up

My old Acer lappy is playing up so i've decided to do a burn/build back to basics with it. I think i've backed up everything I need with the exception of iTunes, how do i back all my music/apps etc? I've looked at 'export library/playlist' but this doesnt give me the option to export it to my USB back up drive.....

Find the itunes folder and copy it?

1. Consolidate your iTunes library to ensure all the media is in one place
2. Copy to hard drive
3. Restore
