the one bugbear with all my gs's has been the buffeting, now i have finally cracked it(well for me anyway).i have just fitted one of the wunderlich vario screens to my 2010 adv.so with a low sargent seat, touratwat adj foot rests, and now the screen i can ride at speed(so far 90mph) with visor up and in complete comfort.it looks a bit agricultural but it does the job.v easy to fit and you get a choice of upper screens, high or low.
in the pics its the high screen on the highest setting.

you can never have enough bikes now can you:D

Hi
I am thinking of doing the lower seat thingy ,to reduce the wind blast

Figured I would do the seat first and then the screen if necessary

May I ask how tall you are I am 5"10 and 32 inside leg

There's a Givi AF330 screen fro sale at the moment in the "for sale" area

Great bit of kit will do the job:thumb

have a look at the thread on here.

Hi Autogs,

they are the buck pads from ebay, they are quite good actully, keep the wind off but full use of controls.up untill it warmed up i used some of vals muffs which are super warm but restrict access to handle bar switches.

Do all the vario
screens come with the bottom half tinted and upper half clear, or have you deliberately chosen that option?
I know you say it takes away buffeting, but how do you find it regarding wind noise, as I tend to get one or the other, but can't get rid of both?

the screen looks good what is the wind noise like at speed do you know if is better than the givi airoflow.

standard is tinted bottom part and the 2 choices of top screens(both supplied) are clear.
wind noise is not a prob seems pretty quiet to me,ive looked at the pic of the givi and it looks too rounded and narrow at the top section to be as effective as the wunderlich, but of course i dont know that for sure.this screen along with my sargent seat have been my best buys.

Its getting there, now all you need are some plastic fairings and it'll look like this......:augie

Autogs, out of interest did you try the Wunderlich spoiler? I've got this, and whilst not perfect, it's much better. I was wondering how the vario screen compares?

i had the touratwat spoiler and that did make an improvement, but this screen is leaps and bounds ahead of it.

pj you know im waiting for the 1600,rt is so yesterday:D
