Traded my Thruxton for a Bonneville America this last weekend as I've been wanting a cruiser bike for a while now.

What I'm after is something that'll get me to my destination feeling more chilled than when I set off. Plus it'll be handy for going out riding with Mrs NB when she's on her Harley.

Is this the start of the slippery slope? :D

I'm looking for words of reassurance from other Tossers who've gone down the cruiser route. :beerjug:

I love my cruiser. :ymca

Nothing wrong with the cruiser thing

I started with a Honda 750DC, then VTX1300S and moved to a Harley and now have the GSA.

I loved the cruisers but had to move away as I was getting OSD with the cleaning!!:bounce1

Do I see a Z1 in there? :cool::thumb

Yes PhilM, you do. I've owned it since new (1975) and am in the process of giving it a thorough rebuild at the moment. 80,000 miles and it didn't need a rebore or new pistons. They certainly built those engines to last. :thumb2

Nothing wrong with the cruisers, i have a harley softail next to the xtz750 in the garage, each bike has its place, nice to go for a cruise on a nice sunny summers evening with the missus.

5 bloody bikes.....you lucky lucky man you. Is that the garage behind your bikes...mmmm nice.
Jeolous...who me?

Respect for you with a Z1 since new!! My dad has a CBX1000 and a CB550 both of which hes had from new ,both about 80000miles and never had a rebore!! Tough as nails!!
