January's Night ........

If I can get back from Luton in good time I might be able to make the pub.

Meet some where on route? A48 Fuel Station Tycroes junction?

Lost who needs assistance, I've got a degree in getting Lost :D:D
But always manage to get there in the end :augie and find some unusual routes
in the process. (sometimes) :thumb

Anyone want to meet up locally and go up together?.

Hey Al,

Now I actually have rubber on my wheel rims I know I will be taking the bike :D Would be good to meet up somewhere on route, where you got in mind?

I will have the Mrs on the back so there will be no chance of proving the GS's cornering ability on the way there :( I have to ride like im being followed by a riding instructor or its broken ribs for me! :blast

Drop us a text or somin nearer the time: 07918 760202

Baz :thumb2 (right im off to actually fit the wheels back in the bike)

PS. fitting the front tyre was a "father-less child"!!!!!!!

Hi Baz I was thinking of meeting up in the Moto services J47 M4, bout 18.45
I will be taking the car, SWMBO does'nt fancy going on the bike in this fine weather.:thumb

Hmmm...... point taken Al... I think if it really starts to turn then four wheels will be required here too... It's one thing for the missues to get on the bike but its another story if she gets cold and wet! :augie

Well, we'll see nearer the time me thinks. For now I best print out a map. Of course if fellow TOSSER Kingrat had managed to unwire MY new Garmin then I would need a map at all! :augie
:thumb2

OK... Having seen where Colbren is im gona take the mountain goat approach :) Ammanford, GCG, Lower Brynammen, Ystrad, Abercrave, Colbren... Why I just shared that with everyone I don't know? I guess its better than having the discussion with myself? :)

Can you all wear red bobble hats or something, so that I'll recognise you.
Alternatively I could just look for a bunch of middle aged blokes loitering and complaining about the prices of TT kit.

What's the Welsh for, "By crickey that sound prohibitively expensive, even though it's the dog's what not". Just so I can pick it out of the general hubub and hone in on you lot.

See you later gents.
PS. I scoured the discount bin for give-aways I could bring along, to buy your friendship. Unfortunately there was fur-call, so I'll have to rely on my personality...

I'm stuffed aren't I?

Hi Guys,

I don't think i'm going to be able to make it tonight due to work commitments but thanks again for the warm welcome and hope to meet you all at the next event......

Have a good one!

Faces to names.... (even if slightly mixed up?)

Hi Guy's,

Fantastic night had, really good to meet you all and great to put faces to names. A fantastic pub with excellent food (and Chip Showers :augie ) but more to the point a really decent buch of people! :thumb2

Had a great time and look forward to the next one being about 12 hours longer involving more beer and more bikes too... :bounce1

We should all arrange to meet up for a beer somewhere next weekend and maybe even use these bikes we all talk about :blast

(I see a pattern in my conversation... :beerjug: )

Take care all.... Baz and Nik

Good to meet you Baz and Nik, hope to see you both again soon :thumb

A good night with good food and good company too!

Too many polishers and not enough riders.
Me thinks you will have to wait till its sunnier and a lot drier out there, before you see any GS's :augie :D

:hide:augie:augie

That Gammon Steak was MASSIVE BTW
Reckon this could be our new monthly venue, with a camping option in the summer!!!!!

I recon you could be right Allan! :D nice pub and decent grub, every month, cant be bad! :thumb2

These guy's aren't bike polishers, they just need some encouragement! In fact having talked to Dai last night, he probably rides his bike more than you :D

Me and four others are off to John 'O' Groats in May, Taff and gang are off to John 'O' Groats in May, Dai is set and ready to go once he decides where :nenau So now we are wondering... What's your riding plans for the next few months mate? :bounce1 Surely you're not a bike polisher? :augie

On that note... Im off for a short ride to Touratech tomorrow morning, spend an hour kicking tires, talking to Steve (Lamble), buying things I didnt know i needed and drinking coffee :blagblah I gota beet you lot to the pre-Ebay stuff :D

Anyone else up for a short blast say around 11am?

Anyone finished their gammon yet?

Like the idea that the veggie option was just a bit less gammon.
