jawa 350 combo

it must be cheap

had one many years ago and am looking at the scar on my leg caused by it. I found that as the side car was very light it made riding it interesting. They can be fun but very basic everything.

If your heart says do it!

If you want one go for it however I think that is too much. Also it will be very hard to ever sell if you want to. An MZ out fit is far better however will cost more. i dont know but does anyone do spares for them anymore? They are the type of bike you have because you want one!

I had one and loved it, simple, reliable and great fun. Put a sandbag in the boot of the side car for ballast it makes the handling much better. With practice you can ride for ages with the sidecar airborn even with a passenger in it. Not fast but will burble along at 50-55 mph no problem, good fun in the snow too. If it floats your boat buy it, they are cheap to run and easy to maintain.

Yes and yes... power on opposite lock round greasy roundabouts and knee down with the chair in the air... so much fun. Jawas were better built than Czs. Torquey motors and robust engineering, although mine ate clutch centre bushes.

Yes and yes,

Infact 3 of em. Did my test on one after I had the examiner bump starting it in the carpark:blast.
I'd love another, almost to the point of saying 'cash waiting' if anyone knows of another:thumb

many disaster stories!

My first ride home I crashed into a metal fence and bent the forks untill they were touching the side car, So I borrowed a car jack and hamered it between the forks and side car metal frame and wound the forks back until they were a little straighter and then road it home! hit another kerb and both fork tops springs and all the oil shot out the top of the forks, Then I realised perhaps the side car was not set up correctly, it needed weight in the side car and the most important thing I had no idea how to ride one!

It was stolen once and my mother called to say she had called the police I told them to go and look at the bottom of the nearest hill as there was no way without the nack they would have started it. They found it wher I said it would be.

Heres mine

Heres mine about 1989 this was taken, when I was not so fat and not so bald:rolleyes:
