On the subject of dealers, good / bad, my personal experience with BMW Shipley has so far been excellent.
As I work away most of time, the last thing I want to do on leave is to have the trusty bike in at the garage being serviced. The last time I was at sea, they (Jefferies) arranged to collect it in a van, roadtest it to detect any faults, carefully! carryout the warranty and 6000mls service work I needed doing, then give it damn good clean, before returning it safe and sound, placing it away in my garage, on charge. All this for a little more than what other garages were charging for the basic 6000mls service.
