Winter testing formula 1.
The new V6 Turbo cars.
9:00 to 5:00 daily.
Between €10 and €20 admission.
I will be spinning over from Ronda direction, not sure about the day yet.

THAT sounds like a plan....;)

Great circuit.... I was there when 46 did Sete, good and proper, in 2005......:D

Enjoy......:thumb2

Me and the missus are going. Been to the Valencia circuit a few times over the years for the testing. Great value for the money. :thumb2

i have booked a couple of nights in a hotel in Jerez Tuesday and Wednesday night.
We will round it off with a spin down to Gibraltar and back in time for our Sunday morning Ronda spin.

Wasn't that special! I was in Cuba and noticed it on TV in a small hotel. I walked in, ordered a beer and watched it with the locals. I was wearing my Valentino shirt that day too. Thank you for reminding me. :thumb2

A pleasure Sir...:aidan

I was sat in a front seat, on the last bend out of the stadium section....I could just see them enter THAT left hander. My eyes shot to the big screen as I jumped up onto my seat. In amongst a zillion Spaniards I was screaming for Rossi to do the job.....my mate was sat with his head in his hands, he thought we were going to get our heads kicked in...:D

The Spanish fans were just fine, we all knew that we had just witnessed a classic....:clap

I'll be definitely heading down there on Tuesday and maybe Wednesday.
Was there for the testing a couple of years ago and forgot to take my earplugs. Ended up half deaf for a week or so after that.
(I believe that they are allowed to test at Jerez without silencers)
With a bit of luck the new turbocharged cars are just as loud......i suspect not though.
Anyhow, if anybody is heading down there via the Antequera - Olvera - Jerez road and wants a bit of company for the ride, i'll be heading down early Tuesday morning.

Cheers.

Dave.

I will leave from the BP across from the Castle in Fuengirola (A-7) at 9:00 and would be in Ronda at 10:30 - 11:00 if anyone wants to meet up.
I am staying in the centro of Jerez Tues - Wed night.

Be careful with your speed , the Guardia Civil nicked me two weeks ago on the main road from Tarifa to Jerez in a speed trap and I mean TRAP, it cost me 300 Euro on the spot and 6 points.... ouch! Spain is skint and it is an easy way to raise money.

I am aware of the speed traps on the straight bits.
We did our Sunday morning Ronda ride last Sunday and it was 12 to 14 deg at the top.
Feck me Tuesday morning was 1 deg and this afternoon it was 3 deg at 5 in the afternoon.
Still a great spin and i enjoyed watching the F1 + i watched an engine go pop.

It will be cold for the next few days, but today it will be clear blue sky's, it is 9 c on the coast at the moment rising to 14c in the afternoon. Enjoy yourself's. :)

Heading down your way in the morning. i should be over the border at 11:00
Head up to see the apes and a spot of lunch and a bit of shopping on main street.
I usually park near the Bristol hotel.

Enjoy Gib. Try the Clipper in Irish Town for good pub grub. :thumb2
