I remember watching the clip when you set off. Only another 11 years and 5 months until I do the trip. Hopefully my 1100 will still be around to do it.

Now it's 10+ years old the 1100's are allowed to look well used, are still seriously useful and can actually be looked after without going anywhere near a dealer. We may get the odd pissy look from the new crowd but we know the truth Paid £2000 and still worth most of that in bits, aha

1100's

better than 1200's! on my trip over the same route one NEW 1200 had three rear shocks, one battery as did the other 1200 also new got through two batterys!. My 1150 just hit things instead but apart from this all ok. makes a good job of dogs!.
