MarkLS and Fastfreddie99 - a trip planned in 30 messages... starting from Inverness 24th June then upto Wick and JoG same day, then heading south from Wick on the 25th June.

Was going to write a bit about the prep prior to leaving but have been away in the US for the last 2 weeks - bike was delivered by BLD to Inverness Storage both companies have been very helpful with their comms.

The day started off well enough awake with the alarm and on the way to the airport by 0545 for a 0920 flight - 1.5hr Southampton to Gatwick - normally... But not today!

M23 closed so stuck between M25 and Gatwick 4 miles from the exit, didn't move for 2.5hr, nearly 5 hr journey, missed flight but rebooked later today FlyBe charged me £40 for the privilege.

Finally boarding 9.5hr after leaving home!!

Back home after a great trip, 1370 miles in total.
