July 17th get together in Abercrave

As AlBigAl is away sampling the Red stuff and Allan is expecting so to speak, I'll post up for the July get together.

The get together will be at the Abercrave Inn on Thursday 17th of July at approx 7.30pm.

lost wallet

I was there last weekend. I rode down from Manchester and arrived at 10pm in the pouring rain. I instinctively took out my wallet and placed it on the bar. The owner asked me to fill out the form for the overnight stay and I flipped the bar mat over my wallet. When it came to pay and get the drinks I reached for my wallet in my pocket which wasn't there.

Being so knackered I forgot I had put it on the bar and instead hopped back on the bike and rode back up the mountain like a headless chicken. When I got back to the bar they were all smiling/laughing at my absent mindedness.

I don't think they will forget me and my antics for a while.

It would be nice to go back but I'm away on business that day.
