Once again the meeting lands on my callout week ! I don't think i'll ever get there if it falls on the same week in the month!!!!!!! Maybe next month, if it's not whilst i'm in the Alps that is!!

Longdog - I hope those GPS readings are wrong or it's a long trip to North Wales and some serious off-roading for us - N52 50.108 W3 40.272 is in Snowdonia and about 0.7 miles from the nearest tarmac

N51 50.108 W3 40.272 looks better but is to the East (right) of the A4067, N51 50.108 W3 40.572 is still to the East but looks more likely - I'll leave you to check it - wherever it is Jill & I will be there :beerjug:

Really??? I just moved the little arrow in Mapsource and those were the figures that appeared in the bottom left hand corner!! Well I am a complete numpty with Mapsource and I have NEVER managed to successfully download a custom route, so I'll certainly concede on this one!!! Someone really should organise a workshop for people like me! :blast

Anyway, stick with the written version of the directions and you'll be OK :thumb :thumb

By the way, the Gwyn Arms is just to the right of the A4067 on a little loop that is not shown on Mapsource, so that looks (roughly) right :augie

Try Googlemaps and type in Gwyn Arms you'll see the turning but you can't get a good satellite picture of the pub.(only works with some areas).

Same problem here, I do on-call one week in 4, and it's this week. I need to be within 50 minutes of J32 if my phone goes off...and I'm not that quick a rider.

Any one going brom Cardiff and fancies a little ride up (if it's not lashing it down) leaving the upper boat pub about 1830 ish. Go via Storey Arm(a470) and onto Sennybridge then 4067 to tut pub:beer:

Sorry:(
cannot make it as Mel rumbled me and the fact that she thinks we ought to be on our own(some say we are) for our anniversary meal and not with a bunch of tossers. What's a dog house and why should I be in it?:nenau
See ya next month:thumb2

By the time you read this you wil have realised that Jill & I didn't make it, well not at the same time as the rest of you.

We had a plan, we were going to the waterfalls at Ystradfellte to take photo's and then go on to Dan yr Ogof caves to look around before popping across the road to meet you lot.

The waterfalls were great, got lots of photo's, slipped on the slippery rocks and went flat on my back - 19st from 6ft - I was a bit winded and I'll be sore tomorrow, but off we went to the caves - they were shut, last tour is at 15.00. We popped across to the pub, we were there at 17.00, but decided that staying for another 5 hours or so was pushing it a bit and so we came home.

Sorry for missing things, it looks a nice pub, we'll plan better next time and we will be there.

Not the old bad back excuse Bob, I would thought that a man of your superior knowledge:rob would have come up with a better one. hope it gets better soon a bit like your excuses:thumb2 PS hope the waterfalls are OK:D

Good to see everyone last night. Any comments on the venue? They are happy to host us again :thumb
