My old HG jacket is coming to the end of its life and I want to replace it with one that is a) waterproof, b) reflective and/or bright (preferrable the latter), c) can be used in the winter and summer (so should have vents). I don't seem to be able to find one that matches these (unless I pay £300 at BMW).
Any ideas???
thanks

Martin Hi
How does £225 inc. postage sound to you for a almost new Streetguard jacket (worth new £425!)
If you're interested, email me at
[email protected]
YOu can also see it on ebay but I can email you picture if you want.
Warm but with removeable thermal zipped in liner, and Goretex
The Streetguard Jacket is made of a material newly developed by BMW Motorrad and Gore: for this GORE-TEX®Armacor laminate, the GORE-TEX®membrane was directly connected with a Kevlar®-reinforced upper material for first time.
The Kevlar®thread was worked into a grid construction and covered with Cordura® In this way it gives the triple-layer laminate uniquely high values in terms of abrasion and tear-resistance and provides protection from ultraviolet radiation.
Due to the lamination of the GORE-TEX®membrane directly onto the upper material, the full absorption of the upper material with water and the resulting feeling of coldness and increased weight in rainy weather is virtually eliminated. The result is permanently waterproof, windproof and extremely breathable.
Maximum wear comfort is provided by a number of other details: double front zip, removable and height-adjustable CE protectors, removable thermal insert in the jacket, pocket for back protector and hip protectors as well as large-surface integrated reflective panels.
Has Removable thermal liner
Has internal zip to 'zip-up' to trousers to make a 'one piece'
