Off to west Wales via Ross on Wye and that loveley A40 next weekend and don't think my rear Anakee will make it there and back. Any suggestions where to, what to replace it with during next week? I live in north east Hamnpshire.

I just changed the back tyre on my 07GS on thursday.Got the Anakee 2 and got 100 miles on it this afternoon. No different from my old anakee which i got 4000 miles from so quite happy with it:bounce1

Protyre in Gloucester are very good and just off your route, assuming you are travelling on Friday or Saturday when they will be open.

Phone to order the tyre, they can get most for the following day.

If you are going to keep the front Anakee then get another Anakee, assuming you have been happy with them.

Protyre have a branch north of Winchester if you want to get it sorted earlier in the week. http://www.protyre.co.uk/outletsdesc.aspx?id=11049

You could try Roadwheels in Fleet
http://www.roadwheel.co.uk/

or Ride in Bike Tyres in Reading
http://www.rideinbiketyres.co.uk/

Both would need a phone call to ensure they have the tyre available and both can order in for next couple of days if they don't - I am getting my front tyre changed in Reading next week - although will take my own wheel off just to save a couple of beer tokens :augie

Thanks for the input guys

I am woring in Reading next week so might try there 1st.

Continental Trail Attacks...
Replace the OE Battlewings with them .
They are as good on the GSA as they were on my old GS....ie; Ace
Far more predictable in the wet than BWings IMHO....and last as long..ish
