The manual says gl5 80/90w fairly straight forward - local at dealer has given me 80/90w LS GL5

The LS is for limited slip diff's is it going to make feck all difference?? Or shall I insist on a non LS??

Diff oil is the best for the final drive and gearbox because of its higher shear strength.

LS oil has higher shear strength than normal gear oil, so as Rob says it is better, and as a bonus you might even find the gear changes are a bit slicker too.

My local BP servo was knocking out a few cases of BP G/L 5/6 Limslip at a quid [$2] a liter and I bought a case, as I was paying six times that for Mobil 1 Synth, and with four bikes and two cars to service I use a fair bit.

To my surprise I found a noticeable improvement in the shifts on the airheads. It drips out of the box a bit faster than the M1, but at the price it doesn't matter as much.
