What Colour light

Hi all - these kits look good. Does this company take CC's? Also (might sound like a stupid question) - how does the colour of the light emitted by the HID bulb correspond to the temperature range quoted?

Thanks.

He only excepts "T/T" ??? or western union. These prices are amazing. It's about £35 a set inc postage for the cheaper stuff which is £60 cheapest on ebay. Plus it's direct from the company.

How do you place an order with them, they dont seem to have an online service.

I'm about to by a kit from Yifano as per Snoopy's link.

Does anyone have any experience of them?

I'm being quoted $75 plus $38 shipping by TNT for:
- 2 x H7 bulbs
- 2 x slim ballasts
- plus other bits that come in the kit.

I presume its a 50W kit, but need to check...

can anyone say for definate that hid bulbs differ. i have a 35w main but although better than halogen i'm not really getting the illumination distance ahead. when i fitted them the reflector popped out of the adjuster arm. i fixed this after hours of poking and took it to a friend of a friends workshop with a proper mot beam adjuster. after me sitting on the bike for a few seconds and adjusting he claimed it was ok but it seemed to quick etc. the other night i was on dark roads with light snow (not snow showers). i was trying to pick out good routes ahead but struggled. even though i struggled to see on dipped (main beam) a couple of cars flashed me, maybe dazzled?

i'm thinking of hanging the 35w ballast to a 50w but use the same bulb?

i have a touratech perspex h/l guard and 35w hids in the fogs (which sometimes drown out the effectiveness of the main beam)

any info would be great before i waste more money on bits :)

Possible the burner is not seated correct, that can throw the beam out and the perspex cover will deflect light :thumb2

cheers les,
all seated ok (if you mean the bulb). i think you could be right about the h/lamp cover. it throws the light up and i've had to black tape the top edge and make a sheild between the top edge and the top of the headlight housing to stop the light being thrown upwards towards the screen and my eyes. i'm going to align the h/lamp manually tomorrow night (as per many diy methods of measuring angle on the web). i think i'll then remove the cover and have a ride out down some dark roads and hopefully see. as the hid guru do you think a 50w would make a huge difference?
