Just had a letter from BMW España

Just had a letter from BMW España advising me to get my 07 R1200GSA back to a dealer as soon as possible to have the software upgraded to improve the "Regulacion antipicado" which seems to translate to "pre ignition and to also improve the response of the bike when accelerating , Not noticed any problems in either case so far , anyone else had this notice and know how " urgent " it is

Had mine done when it was in on an unrelated job. Didn't seem to be any urgency. There'll also be an upgrade that will let them see if the distance on the instruments = the distance the bikes ECU says it has done

got mine done last week, it has improved the knocking the nosie that you hear starting on occasion, and seems to have taken some of the lag out beween 4 and 5 thousans revs.
didnt seem to be any urgency again and i just happened to be passsing the dealer, they did straight away but it took about 3 hrs to do it.
