Wanted Thread '38mm Exhaust Headers for BMW R80RT Mono'

I’m after a pair of used exhaust headers for my 1990 BMW R80RT Mono

I believe they are BMW part numbers 18 11 145 181 & 18 11 145 182 and they are 38mm diameter

I would also consider a used Keihan set

Saw these headers on eBay , the seller has advised they are 38mm at one end and 36mm at the other end

I thought (perhaps incorrectly) that exhaust diametere were either 40mm , 38mm or 35mm

My headers on the R80RT are 38mm both ends

New one to me as well ? Always known them to be a fixed diameter all the way through.

Thats what I thought , if I hadn't already bought the new headers I may have perhaps has a punt on them but I did ask him to recheck and he confirmed they were indeed 36 mm at the end that goes to the collector box / H section

The mono bikes had a weird exhaust,2x headers then the H collector,then the silencers.
Where the early bikes just had headers and silencers,
No idea why.

Yes my Mono has this set up but both ends of the headers are 38mm , not came across anything with different diameters
