I think I already know the answer - a friend is about to sell his Blue/Yellow K1 and I'm mulling it over BUT I'm 6' 6" and I reckon it will be too small for me.

Anyone care to comment?

I can't actually try the bike as I am currently 12000 miles from it; having said the above, I did have a 400 Four in my yoof which with Dunstall rearsets and Bottelin Demoulin (sp?) clipons I did fit onto/into, although it was origami. I dare say my knees are not as supple as 30 years ago though.:rob

I've told him I might list it here if there is interest; don't know mileage etc. yet but he has looked after it very well and it still does starship speeds (on a private road of course).

Thanks all

I'll take that as a No then :D

Thanks for the swift reply - I'll see if he wants to offer it to the inmates here.

I'm 6'1" and was never comfortable on my K1. If its a mint unused low mileage model and not expensive then buy it as an investment only.

I have never ridden a K1 but have a K1100RS - I'm 6'3" and wouldn't want to be any taller on the RS.

I'm 6' and my knees touch the fairing on mine. I'm guessing you would have your knees sticking out which is kinda defeating the object of the bikes 'streamlining'...;)

But as Luke says, could be worth a punt as an investment..:thumb

Hang it on your (reinforced) lounge wall, tis a thing of beauty (in my eyes of course)....:D

kinda fit

6 foot one ish..

I think I fit on board .
