I just got a new kahedo seat today for my 07 GSA. I must say it looks the part and is well built. However, it seems quite hard and I think I can feel the bike's vibrations much more compared to the original seat. That said I find the riding position much improved.

Has anybody done any long distance riding on the kahedo? Does it perhaps need to bed in a little? And do pillions complain about being higher up in the air?

[Apologies for the duplicate entry - I can't work out how to delete my earlier post in another section.]

They do seem firm but they are comfortable.

Four or five hours in the saddle and you start to squirm a bit, but before you know it you've just done another two hours.

Used 'em on our Long Way Home... all day in the saddle, day after day sometimes.... no probs.

Big :thumb from me

I have got a Kahedo extra low and a Sargent low seat.

The Kahedo is definitely in the 30min and my ass doesn't like it zone. BUT it is lower and I can paddle my bike much easier :D

The Sargent is lovely. Just very comfortable.
