Seriously considering one of these, big 'ol V twin cruiser, not a Hog, I know, but can't afford one of those:comfort

Anyone got any experience of these?

(Keeping the 1200GSA obviously!)

Yep

Mates got one iv ridden it and he.s coming down to the SW of France on it in a couple of weeks. Its well built imo, gearshift crunchy but im thinking thats designed in,Kawa can make slick shifts, his has footboards which are comfy but jeez these things ground real easy.Stock seat is super comfy and the screen is good although not sure what it would be like looking through it in the rain.Paint and chrome is fab i really like it but id have one as a second bike and id choose the 900 special edition in matt black.

Someone posted a road test of a VN Nomad a good while back and it didn't do well.

I like them too :thumb2

VN 1500 Vulcan

I had one for a year
Great Bike- Reliable -Handled very Well.
Did everything it said on the

DropBox
Box.

Had one for three years, Imported it from USA so had running boards and all the
kit, very comfortable and always induced a big grin when riding. Tip learn to ride one handed coz you will be tempted to W:censor:k with the other...

What makes you think that? :nenau

I'd check out a few small ads if HD is what you really want. There are some slightly tatty early EVOs going very cheap these days, reliable and oil tight :thumb

You can always do it up over time and enjoy the experience

Yeah Mutters, I have looked (obviously in the wrong places:blast) for something like that but even a Harley blockhead 10-15 years old are going for relatively big money. I will get one eventually tho', like the GS's, they are iconic.

Plumped for a VERY tidy 10 yr old 1500 Vulcan Classic from another member of this parish, 11.5 k miles, very well looked after and reasonable money.

Takes some beating in this weather!:thumb

If my coccyx ever gets better then I can see me getting a big cruiser
