Please has anyone had any success fitting a Kayoko throttle lock to a 1200 sport?

The Kayoko website does not list anything for this model. Normally I would just look to the Breva solution, but the handlebars are one of the very few areas that the Breva differs from the sport! However, there is nothing at all special about the 1200 bars and I have to think that a number of locks intended for other brands or models would probably fit.

I am specifically looking for the Kayoko type, I have tried the other styles of throttle lock on other bikes and really don’t like them.

As was recently noted, I have posted this here because UKGSer gets more Moto Guzzi traffic than most of the Moto Guzzi forums!

When I got one for the F800GSA I contacted the importer as there was none listed for the year of manufacturer , they sorted me out straight away . Since then I have transferred it to my KTM1090 Adventure with no issues (website said it would not work)

Neil DD, thank you, I stand corrected!

Neil W - thanks, yeah if I measure my handlebars' internal diameter, I'd be surprised if it's a special Italian size that no other manufacturer has ever used...

I will indeed contact........ KAOKO!

Just had a thought. I found a throttle lock to fit all the 1200 Stelvios. My bike came with hand guards that I am pretty sure are a Stelvio part. (Graham?)

Therefore…I will report back.

Sorry Paul - not been on here for a wee while and only just spotted this. Indeed - the hand guards are Stelvio 1200 ones from memory. I had thoughts of a throttle lock when I had the Sport but didn't take it any further.

The wheel that locked on the bar ends seemed pretty good - looks like you are there already with the Kaoko design. Other makes I came across were Mantt and a weird clamp thing by Billfaro (I think) that didn't look like it would work on the Guzzi Sport. A lot of the universal ones seem to be for older Harleys in the US market where miles are longer ;) and bros are righteous

Thanks Graham. I was pretty confident that the guards were Stelvio parts, so I ordered a throttle lock from a well known Chinese distributor (cheap enough for it not to matter if it didn't work) that was advertised as fitting all the older Stelvios.

It arrived, very well made, and it works a charm.
