Kazakhstan - I need to some tyres

Hi,

In Uzbekistan heading towards Almaty in Kazakhstan and expect that I'll be due a tyre change there. I'm putting a call out to find if anyone has any experience or advice in acquiring tyres in Almaty. Ideally I'm after some TKC80s for an R1200GS but open to whatever I can get.

Weather for past 6 weeks in central asia has been above 40deg most days which has been awesome. Heading off to the Parmirs in the next week or so - just though I'd rub that in - hehe

tyres in kaz. youll be lucky! tkc! if you find some new, can i have your lottery numbers. however, i think there is a bmw dealer in almaty maybe they can help. have you considered having some sent out to you?
if you havn't already, ask on horizons unltd.
ive just returned from that neck of the woods, we needed some inner tubes,
never found any. good luck.

We were there five years ago ... can't help you with the tyres but if you're heading in to Almety don't be staying at the Car Hotel ... we were robbed there
