We can now provide a Keihan End can for the R1200GS. This is a stainless steel can and will fit with the standard and all aftermarket headers via the link pipe.

This can was specifically designed for use with a set of Verns Worldbeater Panniers for the 1200. Vern has designed panniers which do away with the nearside cut out and each pannier is the same size. This maximises capacity, they are easier to pack and also look better!!

Because of this requirement, the can is very narrow and is designed to run along side and close to the frame so really tidies the back end up and can be used with any other pannier frames.

The pics show the optional "pea shooter" extension to the can so the exhaust gasses exit beyond the pannier and number plate. The pics also show the 1200 with the full Keihan Stanless Steel exhaust system.

It is supplied with the link pipe, all fittings and there is no extra charge for the pea shooter extension but you will need to specify which one you need.

As with all Keihan products, it`s made in Britain and comes with a 10 year guarentee. Price is £230 + delivery.

You can pm me, e-mail me @ [email protected] or phone on 07766554069.

Nice.
Is this road legal??
Does it have a removable baffle???
I assume no rejetting/fuelling will be required??

Miff

The baffle is removable and it`s very noisy if that`s your bag. With the baffle in, it`s no louder than a standard can but gives a deeper burble.

It`s not stamped with anything to make it illegal but it`s not noisy in standard trim so I wouldn`t have thought you would have an issue.

No fuelling mods are required as the Lambda sensors sort all that out.

It`s also 3kg lighter than the standard can.

It looks really nice. :bowIt is a little bit moved up and back orit is my mind?? Because I wouldn't prefered it so back.:augie

Also as I have the same year and type motorcycle like you, can you provide us with some feeling of the motorcycle? how it revs up, how it accelarates? Also, I think a dyno diagram will be very usefull as it is the first time you produce such a kind of can and it will be nice for us to see the benefits from this exhaust can (with and without the headers.):rob

I am wondering if you are planning to create a can from carbon or titanium? To create a whole system from titanium:blast (that is a dream but I cannot paid my whole salary for such a kind of exhaust and I wouldn't have a problem to buy a "made" one.:topic)

Sorry for being such painin the @ss...:pullface

Does it work with a 2010 (Twin Overhead Cam with exhaust flap) R1200GS?
