I do around 600 miles a week all year round with my longest trip being 125 miles twice a week. I had the first generation Keis X10 heated vest and wore it every single day for around 5 years - even wearing it in the spring and autumn but not plugged in. Loved it but it eventually packed in. I ran without one for a year (bad mistake) and I have recently bought the X25 with sleeves - back in love again and a massive difference between that and the heat output of the vest. So far I have not had it above 25% as it is uncomfortably hot. I have the controller which now seems to have been upgraded since the 1st gen and is called the "Heavy Duty Controller" with more lights on it (4 I think for the different heat levels). I rate them very highly and would not be without mine - they allow me to ride in pretty extreme conditions (-9 degrees for 2 hours) without passing out from the cold. Having said that, my new battery harness failed this morning with the centre pin of the socket that connects to the jacket lead having snapped off inside (it was always tight since I bought it clicking it together / breaking it apart) - I've just been given a new one as a replacement from my dealer which I'll be fitting at the weekend but intend to spray a bit of WD40 in it this time to make it a bit easier to connect / disconnect. In short - I love them, think they are great quality and would not be without mine. Hope that helps!
