Bought a Keis X25 heated jacket and remote control. Remote control failed after 2 weeks, now the jacket hanging loop has detached after 3 weeks. The remote had a poor quality appearance but cost close to £60.
Thank goodness for Sportsbikeshop who made it easy to get a refund for the remote and replacement jacket

my hanging loop came away the 1st time i used it, use a hanger now. apart from this its been ok so far, used it about 20times.

i haven't got a remote, but myself and wife have a jacket each and really rate them.

I have the manual controller and use the jacket and hook daily with no problems at all. I really like it.

the remote controller looks exactly like the one that comes with the jacket as standard.:nenau

I do around 600 miles a week all year round with my longest trip being 125 miles twice a week. I had the first generation Keis X10 heated vest and wore it every single day for around 5 years - even wearing it in the spring and autumn but not plugged in. Loved it but it eventually packed in. I ran without one for a year (bad mistake) and I have recently bought the X25 with sleeves - back in love again and a massive difference between that and the heat output of the vest. So far I have not had it above 25% as it is uncomfortably hot. I have the controller which now seems to have been upgraded since the 1st gen and is called the "Heavy Duty Controller" with more lights on it (4 I think for the different heat levels). I rate them very highly and would not be without mine - they allow me to ride in pretty extreme conditions (-9 degrees for 2 hours) without passing out from the cold. Having said that, my new battery harness failed this morning with the centre pin of the socket that connects to the jacket lead having snapped off inside (it was always tight since I bought it clicking it together / breaking it apart) - I've just been given a new one as a replacement from my dealer which I'll be fitting at the weekend but intend to spray a bit of WD40 in it this time to make it a bit easier to connect / disconnect. In short - I love them, think they are great quality and would not be without mine. Hope that helps!

I'm sceptical about the brand "Oxford". Friends have experienced leaky luggage etc .
But their heated gear? Love it... amazing inner vest ( inc heated collar) and compact 5 level led controller £100 all in , works beautifully.
