Hi Guys,

I'm looking to christen my 57 plate GSA off road. I've never ridden a big trailie off road (only ever had a Sherco trials bike) so I'm a total novice at it. Having never ridden trails / green laned before I have no Idea where to go, Good route to take etc etc. Anyone fancy taking me down some easyish routes (Tourance friendly) this Sunday. I'm quite happy to get stuck in but could just do with a tagging along with someone on 'my first ride'.

Ok I understand that the prospect may leave many cold so I'll ask another question.
Can anybody advise me of a good trail / green lane in Kent which may be suitable?

I could come down but don't know the area be handy to break something else on my bike seems I've fixed everything I smashed last time.

Now that's giving me second thoughts, I was hoping that I might not smash anything!

There isn't actually much around in Kent, and what there is tends to be shortish tracks quite far apart- it's pretty difficult to string much together.

Get the OS maps that cover the Pilgrim's way though and there are a few nice sections.......we've had fun on a hill climb near Vigo a few times :)

I'm afraid that although I'm back in Dartford this week, I've only got the landy here or I'd come out to play :(

Hmmm....now there's an idea...........:eyebrow

if you find any suitable routes i may be available this weekend having just fitted some tkc's

Hi SSS,
The thread kind of fell flat on it's ass so I left it. I think I first need to get some TKC's like yourself before I have a propper go off road.

not to worry if you change yr mind and find some suitable lanes just shout
